Meet Dr. Jason Vogt
Approach
Dr. Jason Vogt, whose name happens to rhyme with G.O.A.T, is also known as The Tooth Whisperer, and he truly loves kids and kids' teeth. He says he was born to be a kids' dentist! He has three beeeeyoutiful children that he makes breakfast for nearly every single morning AND is one of the best taxi services around in between doing his other FAVORITE job- being your kids' dentist!
Education
Dr. Jason Vogt's impressive credentials speak volumes about his expertise and dedication to pediatric dentistry. With 22 years of experience in the US military, he led dental missions worldwide and gained invaluable expertise in the field. He further honed his skills by completing a residency in pediatric dentistry following his graduation from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. Dr. Vogt is committed to staying abreast of the latest developments in pediatric dentistry and continuously advancing his knowledge through ongoing education and training. Patients and their families can trust that they are receiving the highest level of care from a dentist with an award-winning, unwavering commitment to excellence and making you smile!
Personal
When Dr. Vogt isn't focused on keeping your children's teeth in tip-top shape, he loves spending quality time with his family. Dr. Vogt comes from an itsy bitsy teeny town in Nebraska and is married to the love of his life, whom he met when he was 18 years old, country pop music singer Hannah McNeil. Together they love to really do anything- travel, eat crazy delicious food, watch their kiddos play sooo many sports, and reeeelaaxx doing nada. Dr. Vogt still opens the door for his wife of over 25 years! Don't hesitate to ask Dr. Vogt about his magic tricks, Husker Football, Omah (his straight-haired, tri-colored Bernadoodle), or his three busy, beautiful kiddos! With such a fulfilling personal life, it's no wonder that Dr. Vogt brings so much joy and care to his patients as their trusted pediatric dentist.
Meet Dr. Rob Higgins
Approach
Affectionately referred to by his patients as "The Straightener," Dr. Rob approaches orthodontic treatment in an extremely thorough and well-thought-out manner. He is a firm believer that a beaming grin is a superpower when it comes to confidence. As he spends time getting to know each of his patients, Dr. Higgins ensures that they are at ease while receiving treatment and understand the how and why of different treatment options.
Education
After acquiring a dental degree from the University of Tennessee, Dr. Higgins decided he wasn't quite ready to hang up his lab coat. He placed in the top of his class and went on to the University of Colorado for an orthodontic residency.
Personal
On off days, you may see him jamming with his band, the Straight Teeth Strummers- okay, not really. Much more likely to look a few blocks away on Old Hickory Lake and see him on his boat, “Lola” getting a lure unstuck out of a tree! Dr. Higgins spends his free time fishing when he's not busy straightening teeth or strumming a Takamine acoustic or Fender Fancy Fingers guitar. He also shows up for the Vogt kids in every way he can. They call him Uncle RobRob and he rarely misses a softball or baseball game of theirs. Dr. Higgins played baseball in college until he was drafted into guitar playing. He always has a fishing tale and is an expert at reeling in those large stripers. He is in a deeply committed relationship with fishing and is the proud father of two amazing daughters: Addie Jane who lives in Colorado and MiMi who lives in England.
Meet Dr. Crystal Angelopoulos
Approach
Dr. Crystal Angelopoulos might be the coolest, calmest, and smartest pediatric dentist you’ve ever met! She has been very successfully practicing pediatric dentistry for over 20 years and was a managing partner in private practice in California... before she saw the Tennessee light! She taught dentistry at UCLA and Harvard… and now she is so excited to be here in Old Hickory, TN to be your kids’ dentist! You are getting the best of the best! A burgeoning gardener, as well as a bougey baker and purveyor of fine sweets and treats, Dr. Crystal’s favorite cuisine is Greek. She spent her summers in Greece growing up. It’s no surprise she is fluent in Greek and loves Baklava. Opa!
Education
Dr. Angelopoulos studied biochemistry at the University of California, Riverside, before attending Harvard School of Dental Medicine and graduating with honors. She also received her post-doctoral pediatric dental certificate at Harvard.
Personal
It was in Boston that she met her super cute husband, Peter, whom she waltzed back to her home town in California, where they started a beautiful family. She has two smart, athletic, dancey, curious, talkative kiddos who are 5 and 7 years old and have full schedules of soccer, gymnastics, dance, and asking momma 300 questions a minute.
